Oh Shenandoah Valley Glory

JayJacy.com

The Shenandoah Valley is in full array so the @HDRCHIC and @WineChics team is off to the valley capturing the rolling hills, mountains, waterways, vineyards and historic landscapes. Visiting art galleries and viewing (again) those incredible artists of yesteryear creates the inspiration to travel and capture them with the lens and especially in HDR. These famous artists knew how with the brush to capture light. We capture it with the tools of our cameras, lens and HDR-DRI. The Art on Canvas is the beginning of our new Fine Art Photography Series.  Whether bold, soft, pastel or black-white, we create our own visions of landscape art today.

One of our favorites is the Albert Bierstadt, Valley of the Yosemite, 1864, oil on board, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and serves as a wonderful inspiration for shooting Yosemite.
